Conflicts and open questions
- The AJC puts the site at more than 800 acres; DCD gives 832 acres.
- DCD gives two different distances from Atlanta (45 miles and 37.8 miles).
- Search results in this pass showed headlines (The Citizen, May 11, 2026; Times-Herald; WSB-TV; CBS News Atlanta) saying residents filed suit or an appeal to reverse the rezoning. Those pages could not be opened because of rate limits, so the filing is not recorded as an event. Verify before publishing.
- DeSmog has reported on the lobbyists working on the project (2025); not opened in this pass.
