What this map covers

The tracker covers campuses of 50 MW or more (or 100 acres or more when power is not reported) that were proposed, approved or contested since 2024, plus operating hyperscale campuses for context. Smaller projects found along the way are kept and can be shown with the switch above the map.

A project’s status is the latest public record we have found: a vote, a filing, a permit or a withdrawal. Every update links to its source, and we credit the reporting that first found it. Positions are approximate. States are added one at a time; a state marked “not yet checked” has not been reviewed, which is not the same as having no projects.
