How to read this

Figures come from the Campaign Contribution Disclosure Reports each committee filed with the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission, read from the Summary Page (Section 5) of each filed report PDF downloaded from PeachFile, the Commission's campaign finance system (efile.ethics.ga.gov). Every figure is the report's 'Campaign to date' column on the committee's latest report: Georgia's running total for the committee's registration in the 2026 election cycle. The form does not split it into primary, runoff and general election amounts, and we did not add up separate reports. 'Raised' is Total Monetary Contributions (line B): money contributions, net of contributions returned. Loans (line C) and in-kind contributions (line J) are not in it and are shown on their own; the Commission's 'Total Contributions' (line L, monetary plus in-kind) is kept as a separate field. 'Spent' is Total Monetary Expenditures (line G), which on Georgia's form includes loan repayments. 'Cash on hand' is the Ending Monetary Balance. For every account but two, the latest report is the 2026 July 31 report (May 1 or June 11 to July 31, 2026, due July 31); Katherine Juhan-Arnold's latest report on file ends April 30, 2026 and Nikki Porcher's ends Oct. 20, 2026. The next scheduled report, the 2026 Oct. 20 report (to Oct. 20, 2026), was due Oct. 20, 2026; as of the morning of Oct. 21, 2026 PeachFile listed it only for Nikki Porcher (commissioner of labor), whose figures run through Oct. 20. The other committees' October reports, and the Dec. 31 report, will add money raised and spent after July 31. Leadership committees (O.C.G.A. 21-5-34.2) chaired by nominees for governor and lieutenant governor are listed separately and never added to the candidate committees. No committee registered with the Commission for or against any of the three 2026 statewide constitutional amendments was found (registrations of committees with general names were not opened; see gaps). Raised, spent, cash on hand, loans and in-kind contributions are different measures and are never added together.

Raised, spent and cash on hand are different measures from the same reports and are never added together. Loans are shown on their own and are not counted as money raised. Periods differ between accounts when committees file on different schedules.

What is not here yet

  • Who is on the Nov. 3 ballot: the Secretary of State's qualified-candidate pages (sos.ga.gov, mvp.sos.ga.gov, elections.sos.ga.gov) answered the workspace with a Cloudflare challenge (403) on Oct. 21, 2026 and were not read. Republican and Democratic nominees come from the Secretary of State's official primary, runoff and recount results (saved). For governor, all ten county sample ballots for Nov. 3 saved with the candidate layer (data/ga/elections-2026/raw/) list only Rick Jackson (Republican) and Keisha Lance Bottoms (Democrat), and no county ballot shows a Libertarian or independent candidate in any statewide contest; the Secretary of State's Final List of Certified Write-In Candidates (Sept. 15, 2026, printed with White County's ballot) does not list Chase Oliver either. An earlier draft of this file included Chase Oliver's committee (filer ID 104073) as the Libertarian candidate for governor on the strength of a news line-up; because the state's ballots do not show him, the account was removed (verifier, Oct. 21, 2026). His saved reports stay in raw/.
  • Ballot measures: Georgia's 2026 ballot has three legislatively referred constitutional amendments. PeachFile's full committee list (446 committees, saved) has no ballot question committee for any statewide question (its only ballot question committees are nine county or municipal ones), and name searches for the amendments' subjects found none. Independent committees that may spend on the amendments were not checked.
  • October reports: the 2026 Oct. 20 report was due Oct. 20, 2026; as of the morning of Oct. 21 PeachFile listed it only for Nikki Porcher. The other accounts run through July 31, 2026 and should be refreshed once the October reports appear.
  • Katherine Juhan-Arnold (commissioner of agriculture, Democrat): PeachFile lists only her April 30, 2026 report (Feb. 1-April 30, 2026); no July 31 report was on file on Oct. 21, 2026, so her figures stop at April 30.
  • Keisha Sean Waites (commissioner of insurance, Democrat): her only registration in PeachFile (filer ID 105331, Committee to Elect Keisha Waites) has one report, the July 31, 2026 report, marked 'No activity to report', with every figure $0.00. A name search found no other 2026 registration for her; money for her primary and runoff campaigns, if any, was not found and is not yet checked further.
  • Earlier reports not served: PeachFile listed but did not serve (it answered 'Not Found') five reports filed before 2026 (Josh McLaurin's Jan. 31, 2025 report, Brian Strickland's June 30, 2025 report and three 2025 reports of Fitz Johnson's committee from the 2025 Public Service Commission special election); their files are kept as ...-not-a-pdf.html. Three other pre-2026 reports were filed on the Commission's earlier form, which the summary script does not parse; they were read by hand where needed (see measure_note).
  • Start of the to-date totals: for John King and Lydia Powell the state's campaign-to-date totals include amounts from before the earliest report available, so period_start is left empty; for Brian Strickland and Fitz Johnson it is the start of the earliest listed report, which could not be checked (see each measure_note).
  • Leadership committees of officials who are not 2026 nominees (for example Gov. Brian Kemp's Georgians First Leadership Committee and Lt. Gov. Burt Jones's WBJ Leadership Committee) and the four legislative caucus leadership committees are not included.
  • Legislative candidates: PeachFile offers report downloads per committee and a data-download page, but no bulk file of all legislative candidates' totals was found; not yet checked.
  • Itemized contributions and expenditures were not pulled; figures are the summary-page totals only. Whether a candidate's own money is part of 'raised' is not shown on the summary page and was not checked in the itemized pages.
  • Check: 104114 (Katherine Juhan-Arnold): PeachFile's computed summary of the latest report does not match the filed report PDF: total contributions to date $6,977.05 in PeachFile's summary, $3,707.05 on the filed report; total expenditures to date $5,401.66 in PeachFile's summary, $2,712.68 on the filed report. PeachFile's monetary contributions, loans, monetary expenditures, in-kind figures and ending balance do agree with the filed report; only these combined totals differ. The figures here are the filed report's.
