   Florida motor vehicle agency says driver records may have been accessed in Sept. 4 breach

   The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles issued a public notice Oct. 16 saying someone used compromised credentials to reach department records. It is mailing letters to current license and ID holders who may be affected and offering free monitoring and identity theft insurance for one year. It has not said how many people are involved.
