Paul Marsh: State Mine Inspector of Arizona.
Offices held and sought
- Jan. 2, 2023–Jan. 4, 2027 State Mine Inspector of Arizona. Source
The office's page names Paul D. Marsh as the Arizona State Mine Inspector and calls the office a statewide elected constitutional officer; it gives no dates. He won the 2022 general election (canvass). The term is four years under Art. 19 as amended by 1992 Proposition 101 and the Secretary of State's terms table; a second 1992 version of Art. 19 (Proposition 107) says two years. A 2026 resolution to settle the conflict (S.C.R. 1029) passed the Senate (Senate engrossed text); it is not among the propositions in the Nov. 3, 2026 publicity pamphlet. Start and end are the first Monday of January after the 2022 and 2026 elections, the date used for the other executive offices; no statute or page checked states the mine inspector's start day.
