  2. DCD reported that DataBank's MSP4, a former zColo suite in the 511 Building, has about 4,500 sq ft and 2 MW. (DatacenterDynamics, Nov. 4, 2021)

Conflicts and open questions

  • Cologix's page says it has more than 45,000 sq ft across four data centers in the building, yet it lists five (MIN1-MIN5); the page does not explain the difference.
  • Cologix gives size and power only for MIN1 (about 8,800 sq ft, 310 kW) and MIN3 (28,000 sq ft, 1.995 MW); MIN2, MIN4 and MIN5 have no figures, so no campus MW or sq ft is set. With DataBank's MSP4 (about 4,500 sq ft, 2 MW per DCD), the stated figures add to about 41,300 sq ft and 4.3 MW, a partial total.
  • The two researchers' Cologix events agreed (MIN3 at 28,000 sq ft and 1.995 MW on the MIN3 page); they were merged into one event and the duplicate MIN1 source was dropped.
  • DataBank's own MSP4 page was not opened; MSP4 rests on DCD (2021, 2023). DataBank said in Oct. 2026 it runs four Minneapolis-area data centers, consistent with MSP1-MSP4.
  • The building is one campus with two colocation operators; it could be split into Cologix and DataBank records if the tracker prefers one record per operator.
  • Coordinates are approximate, placed at the 511 11th Ave. S. address.
