Conflicts and open questions
- Coordinates are approximate, set in south Santaquin near I-15 exit 242 per the Daily Herald. The street address has not been geocoded. Santaquin spans Utah and Juab counties; the reported location is in the Utah County part.
- The DCD article shows no date or byline; it is dated 2026-01 from its reference to the Jan. 6 meeting.
- Developer estimates (ABC4): closed-loop water use equal to about 22 households a year; noise of 55-65 dB; more than $2.4 million a year in city tax revenue and more than $8 million for the state. The Herald reports a DCPC estimate of about $2.45 million a year.
- This is a separate site from DCPC's Juab County permit north of Mona (dcpc-north-of-mona): different approving body (city vs. county), different location (about 5 miles apart), and the Juab permits describe a much larger ~1 million sq ft campus. Both are presented by CEO Jon Jensen.
- A land-purchase suit by JJMC Development is pending in 4th District Court (Daily Herald, Jan. 2026); its outcome has not been checked.
