Updates, newest first

  1. Dec. 2, 2025 The Richland City Council voted unanimously for an option agreement carrying a $250,000 nonrefundable fee toward a purchase of just under $24 million. (Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business, Dec. 12, 2025)
  2. Oct. 20, 2025 DCD reported the plan for 275 acres bought from Richland for about $24 million, with construction from 2027; the city keeps a repurchase right if permits or construction lag. (DatacenterDynamics, Oct. 20, 2025)

Conflicts and open questions

  • DCD's headline says six buildings and its text says five; the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business says five.
  • A 350 MW figure seen in a tracker was not confirmed from an opened source.
