Updates, newest first
- Aug. 18, 2026 Cascade PBS reported that the campus can draw at most 70 MW from the utility; its fifth building has four 40,000-square-foot data halls, with a hall left empty until Sabey finds more power, and four more halls are planned. (Cascade PBS, Aug. 21, 2026)
- April 6, 2026 Ecology issued Approval Order 26AQ-E016, adding 13 emergency generators, all for Building E, and replacing the 2022 order. (Washington Department of Ecology, April 6, 2026)
- Dec. 1, 2025 Comments in the workgroup's preliminary report cited a health impact study of 13 additional diesel generators at Sabey's Quincy site. (Washington Department of Revenue, Dec. 1, 2025)
Conflicts and open questions
- The air permit's combined generator rating is backup capacity and is not used here as the campus's power.
