Washington results
Votes counted so far in Washington’s federal races, governor’s race and ballot measures, from the state’s own count. We report the count; we do not call races.
How to read these results
Votes counted so far. Every number is the state’s own count at the time shown at the top of the page, from Washington Secretary of State results. We check it every few minutes on election night.
Leading means ahead in the count so far, not a winner. We do not call races; each state certifies its own results.
Washington votes by mail: counties post once on election night, then daily for about two weeks.
If the state’s results are late or fail our checks (a missing race, more precincts reporting than exist, a total that drops sharply), we keep showing the last good count and say so at the top of the page.
