The record, newest first
The building's owner withdrew from the application, and the county said the project would not proceed. (Missoula County, Oct. 24, 2026; Montana Public Radio, July 10, 2026)
About 150 people came to a community meeting on the proposal, which needed a special exception from the county land use board. (Montana Free Press, April 3, 2026)
