Justice Department sues Alaska to bar certifying a Senate result it says could reflect voter confusion
The suit, which President Donald Trump says he ordered, asks a federal judge to hold up certification if Sen. Dan Sullivan loses and votes for a second candidate, Daniel J. Sullivan Jr., would have changed the ranked-choice outcome. State courts kept that candidate on the ballot.
