The record, newest first

  1. Beale withdrew the application after the council vote had been postponed several times at its request, so the items did not go to the council. (Tulsa Flyer (via KOSU), March 30, 2026; Data Center Dynamics, March 31, 2026)

  2. Coweta's planning commission voted against recommending the Project Atlas zoning request after residents raised concerns about water, light and transparency; a council decision was expected Feb. 2. (KRMG / FOX23, Jan. 20, 2026; Data Center Dynamics, March 31, 2026)

Conflicts and open questions

  • Plan called for at least one phase of about 200,000 sq ft, with up to three more phases (DCD).
  • The Tulsa Flyer described the January denial as a 4-1 vote by 'city commissioners'; KRMG and DCD attribute it to the planning commission. Treated here as the planning commission.
  • Beale first approached the city in 2024 and bought the land (Tulsa Flyer). Coordinates approximate near Coweta along SH-51B; not geocoded. KRMG called the developer 'Beale Industries'.
