- March 30, 2026 GeekWire, citing The Oregonian, reported Amazon bought 1,300 acres near Boardman where a Johnson Economics land-use proposal filed with the county described 16 to 20 buildings of about 250,000 square feet each and up to 1 GW; Amazon said its plans were not final. Conflicts and open questions
- The Oregonian article itself was not opened; its figures are taken from GeekWire and DCD.
- That the 1,300-acre overlay in Morrow County's April 2026 slides is Amazon's site is inferred from the matching acreage; the slides do not name Amazon.
- Building figures differ: 16 to 20 buildings of about 250,000 square feet each (GeekWire) versus 20 buildings and about 4 million square feet (DCD), both from the same planning documents.
- The map point is approximate (near Boardman).
