FirstLight Williston data center

A colocation data center run by the fiber provider FirstLight in Williston, near Burlington. FirstLight rents full and half cabinets and locked cages there, with A and B UPS power and a backup generator with five days of fuel on site. FirstLight's Vermont page calls it its TelJet data center; FirstLight's predecessor, Tech Valley Communications, bought Vermont-based TelJet Longhaul in 2013. In 2014 the company doubled the site's capacity without enlarging the building. FirstLight has not published a power or floor-area figure.   • FirstLight's own pages call this its Burlington, VT site. Its sell sheet and the 2014 VTDigger story place it in Williston on Krupp Drive, so this record treats them as one campus.
  • Coordinates are approximate, for the Krupp Drive area of Williston. The street number appears only in directories and is not used here.
