(WV Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, July 9, 2025; WV Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, Sept. 18, 2025)

Conflicts and open questions

  • DEP places this site on Mine Road beside Mohawk Industries at the Harless Industrial Park; it is separate from the TransGas ammonia plant site.
  • The final R13-3714 permit document could not be opened; the Oct. 2, 2025 issue date is from WVHC's account of both permits.
  • Holden is a Logan County community; the DEP lists the facility in Mingo County.
  • Residents' federal lawsuit (filed Dec. 3, 2025) covers the whole Adams Fork project; plaintiffs are private individuals; do not name them.
