Federal Election Commission: bulk file of contributions (indiv26), file dated Nov. 1, 2026, and reports as filed in the FEC's daily archives, through the pre-general reports. Committee sides from FEC party labels and independent expenditures.

What this measures

  • What it counts. Money people and organizations gave to committees registered with the FEC, Jan. 1, 2025 through Oct. 14, 2026, net of refunds. Reports filed after the pre-general deadline are not in it: gifts made after Oct. 14 mostly stay private until the post-general reports, due Dec. 3.
  • What it leaves out. Money between committees and from parties, which would count the same dollars twice; candidates funding their own campaigns; gifts to state committees, including governors' races; and spending no committee reports as a receipt.
  • What the groups mean. A row can hold more than one filed name: one person's spellings, a married couple, one company family, or a company whose gift a filing attributes to a person. Open the row to see each name and amount. Everything else stands as filed, and committee names are as registered with the FEC.
  • The sides. They describe the receiving committee, not the donor. A committee takes its FEC party label, or else the side at least 75% of its independent expenditures favored, or else the side of the committees it gave to. A few large committees are set by hand: Senate Majority PAC, the Democratic Governors Association's committee and the Republican State Leadership Committee's committee to their parties; Fairshake, Leading the Future, United Democracy Project and the Realtors' PAC to both parties; Win for America, Conservative Americans PAC and V-PAC to not assigned.
  • Organizations. Many of these are nonprofits that do not have to name their donors, so the people behind that money cannot be seen here. Some report their donors elsewhere, such as to the IRS. Their gifts are listed under the organization's name.
  • What it does not show. Giving to these committees is legal. This list does not show what any donor wanted or received, and a gift to a committee is not a gift to any candidate it supports.
