New Jersey ballot · Nov. 3, 2026Checked Nov. 5, 2026

No statewide measures on the Nov. 3 ballot.

What New Jersey’s own election records show for this ballot.

No statewide public question was found on New Jersey's Nov. 3, 2026 ballot. The Division of Elections' 2026 page shows no public question and no certification of one; the Public Questions section left in the page's hidden code carries the veterans question from the 2023 ballot. In the Legislature's bill tracking database, 4 of the 274 concurrent resolutions of the 2026-27 session and 10 of the 299 of 2024-25 passed either house, and none of those 14 proposes a constitutional amendment. The state's timeline put the deadline for amendments at Aug. 3 and for other statewide questions at Aug. 25, 2026. County, municipal and school questions may appear on local ballots and are not covered here.

What is not here yet

  • No state record says in so many words that no statewide question was on the ballot, and no county sample ballot was read. The finding rests on the records named in the note. Addresses for a 2026 Certification of Public Questions and Public Question No. 1 appear only in the 2026 page's hidden code and answer 404, but the matching 2023 and 2025 addresses also answer 404, so a 404 alone proves nothing.
  • Resolutions were checked through the Legislature's database (status, synopsis and history), not by opening each one. Bond laws were checked by searching approved laws' synopses for bond act or general obligation wording; two 2025 laws matched, and both appropriate money under older bond acts rather than asking voters to approve new debt.
  • SCR96, a proposed amendment on the veterans' property tax deduction, was reported by a Senate committee on Oct. 5, 2026, after the Aug. 3 deadline, and the database shows no floor vote.
  • Ballot question committees and court challenges: none is listed because no question was found; New Jersey's campaign finance agency (ELEC) and court records were not searched.
  • Ballotpedia's New Jersey 2026 pages were read, not saved, as leads only; they list no statewide measure, and the finding does not rest on them.
