  7. Slate Belt Holdings bought the land, three parcels, in April, according to county property records cited by WFMZ; two of the parcels came from River Pointe Logistics Center LLC. (WFMZ-TV 69 News, July 28, 2026; The Center Square (via Times News Online), Sept. 1, 2026)

Conflicts and open questions

  • Acreage: 753 to 755 acres for the main site in different reports, plus about 152 acres at RPL East; 905 is WFMZ's combined total.
  • Building count: 23 in the July concept plan, 'up to 24' in the Oct. 19 report, plus up to six 121,500 sq ft buildings on the RPL East site.
  • The Oct. 8 filing date is inferred from WFMZ's Oct. 9 story ('Thursday').
  • DEP's River Pointe Data Center entry (#10000030) sits on this site; matched by location and name, not by a DEP statement.
  • WFMZ (April 2025) reported that a rumored AWS project at the 800-acre River Pointe Logistics Center fell through over power supply; Amazon was never officially named. Not included as an event.
