The record, newest first

  1. Serverfarm's CTX1 page, where its former HOU2 page now redirects, lists 100 MW of IT capacity, 175 MVA of utility power and two buildings of about 214,000 and 264,000 square feet. (Serverfarm, Sept. 11, 2026)

  2. A second TDLR filing, Project Longhorn Phase 2, covers renovating about 264,500 square feet of data halls, adding electrical and mechanical rooms and replacing outdoor generators, estimated at about $137 million and funded by the tenant, with work scheduled from July to December 2025. (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, April 28, 2025)

  3. Serverfarm registered with TDLR a new 438,000-square-foot data center building (CTX2) at 15555 Cutten Road, estimated at $137 million, with work scheduled from July 2025 to July 2026. (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, March 14, 2025)

  4. Serverfarm, backed by Manulife, said it had bought two Houston data center campuses; it described HOU2 as nearly 500,000 square feet in two buildings able to scale to 100 MW on existing grid power. (Serverfarm / Manulife, Sept. 11, 2024)

Conflicts and open questions

  • The 100 MW figure is Serverfarm's stated IT capacity for this campus; the 500 MW figure in its 2024 release covers both Houston campuses together.
  • No source opened gives a street address for HOU2/CTX1; the Cutten Road location rests on Serverfarm's TDLR filings for CTX2 and Project Longhorn at 15555 Cutten Road, and the renovation's 264,514 sq ft matches the operator's Building 2.
  • sqft is the two existing buildings per the operator page; the new CTX2 building would add 438,000 sq ft.
  • Serverfarm's other Houston campus (HOU1, now listed as HTX1, 410 MW) is a separate site.
  • The tenant that funded the Longhorn renovation is not named in the filing.
