Conflicts and open questions
- Sources differ on camera locations: the county total is reported as 10; a May 2025 West Haven packet labels 9 active plus 1 pending as West Haven cameras; Washington Terrace coverage reports 3 county cameras there and the city's March 3, 2026 minutes say 2. Recorded as stated, not reconciled.
- A sheriff's lieutenant told Washington Terrace on March 3, 2026 that the system holds data about 30 days and only supervisors and detectives can search.
- The cited stories carry no statement from the sheriff's office on the out-of-state searches. KSL reported on Oct. 28, 2026 that the compact said the office was the only entity to give it data voluntarily.
- Sources differ on the June item's date: the notice's event field says June 2, 2026, while its text says May 26, and it was posted May 29. KSL says June 2.
- The contract row records that a contract exists and was amended; amount and term were not found.
