(Loudoun Now, Feb. 2025; DatacenterDynamics, Sept. 2024)

  2. The Loudoun Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning from residential and joint land management zoning to Industrial Park. (Loudoun Now, Feb. 2025; DatacenterDynamics, Sept. 2024)

Conflicts and open questions

  • No Loudoun application file or staff report was opened; evidence rests on Loudoun Now and DCD reporting.
  • Early reporting (DCD, citing the Loudoun Times-Mirror) gave 81 acres and 2.1 million sq ft; the approved version is 83 acres and 1.4 million sq ft per Loudoun Now.
  • Neighbors named in reporting: a Microsoft campus to the northwest and a FedEx facility to the east. No end user has been reported.
  • Status date assumes the Feb. 19, 2025 board meeting reported by Loudoun Now (article dated February 2025; the page does not print the year in the body).
