The record, newest first
STACK's location page (last updated December 2025) lists the campus at 150 MW in four buildings on 54 acres. (STACK Infrastructure, Dec. 9, 2025)
STACK secured $900 million in green financing for the campus, which DCD said had grown from an 84 MW, two-building plan to about 200 MW next to a NOVEC substation slated for expansion. (DatacenterDynamics, Jan. 16, 2025)
Conflicts and open questions
- Acreage differs: 54 acres (company page), 62 acres (DCD 2025), 34 acres (2023 brochure cited by DCD).
- In February 2025 supervisors approved a STACK rezoning of nearly 24 acres on the south side of Wellington Road, east of Freedom Center Boulevard, for an Amazon Web Services data center (InsideNoVa). The article does not say whether this is part of NVA05; it is not counted here.
- A datacenterHawk listing shows NVA05A, 262,000 sq ft at 8911 Freedom Center Boulevard, as commissioned and built in 2023, while its description calls it under construction; status is not changed on that basis.
- Coordinates are approximate, near Manassas.
The full record
- Status note
- STACK closed $900 million in green financing for construction in January 2025; a market listing shows the first building (NVA05A) as commissioned, but its own text also says under construction, so the campus is left at construction.
- Power note
- STACK's page lists 150 MW; DCD reported 200 MW in January 2025, up from an original 84 MW plan. The range is 150 to 200 MW.
