DataBank said the SNA2 expansion was finished, taking that building to 8 MW of critical IT power. (DataBank, April 12, 2023)
DataBank announced a SNA2 expansion of 24,000 square feet of raised floor and 4 MW of critical power. (DatacenterDynamics, April 21, 2022)
DataBank took over both buildings when it bought Zayo's zColo business; Zayo had gained them through its 2015 Latisys purchase. (DatacenterDynamics, April 21, 2022; Baxtel, undated)
Conflicts and open questions
- The square footage is DataBank's 2023 figure for raised floor across both buildings (nearly 89,000), not gross building size.
- The two buildings are treated as one campus because they share an operator and street, about 370 meters apart by address (Census geocoder); DataBank says less than half a mile and names them separately.
- DataBank's own page for 17222 Von Karman could not be opened; SNA1 facts come from its Irvine index page.
