Who is behind it
The record, newest first
The Real Deal, reporting on a Digital Realty purchase in Vernon, described the project's status as unclear. (The Real Deal, Nov. 7, 2025)
Bisnow put the building at about 230,000 square feet and up to 280 feet, and cited a city study saying work could start as soon as 2025. (Bisnow, Dec. 12, 2024)
Urbanize LA showed a revised design and said the project still needed city approvals. (Urbanize LA, Nov. 13, 2024)
Los Angeles City Planning opened comments on case ENV-2023-2247-EIR, which described 229,756 square feet, 13 stories and a 280-foot limit. Comments ran to Feb. 7, 2024. (Los Angeles City Planning, Jan. 8, 2024; Los Angeles City Planning, undated)
The state clearinghouse received the city's notice that it would prepare an environmental impact report, under SCH 2023120557. (California CEQAnet, Dec. 20, 2023)

Conflicts and open questions
- Floor area conflicts: the city's notice gives 229,756 square feet and Bisnow about 230,000, while Data Center Frontier gave 485,892 and DatacenterDynamics and Urbanize LA about 486,000 and 480,000. The sqft field uses the city's figure, which matches its 5.9:1 floor area ratio on a 38,917-square-foot site. No source opened explains the gap.
- No record opened gives a megawatt figure. The site is far under 100 acres, so it is kept as a smaller project found along the way; whether it reaches 50 MW is unknown.
- Data Center Frontier says the site would add capacity next to LAX10; no filing opened calls it an expansion of that building.
- The city's notice requests a major development conditional use permit and site plan review.
- Reports expected work to start in 2025; no record opened shows that it did.
