Who is behind it
The record, newest first
Digital Realty lists EWR20 at 183,000 square feet in seven stories and EWR21 at 215,000 square feet in three stories. (Digital Realty, Nov. 2026; Digital Realty, Nov. 2026; Digital Realty, Nov. 2026)
GI Partners was reported to have bought 2 Peekay Drive, with Telx staying on as its long-term exclusive tenant and operator; the article describes a two-building campus with 100 Delawanna. (Data Center Knowledge, Nov. 5, 2013; NJ Tech Weekly, Jan. 30, 2013)
Ground was broken on a three-story, 215,000-square-foot Telx building at 2 Peekay Drive, with a stated $200 million investment. (Mountain Development Corp., June 11, 2012)
Mountain Development was reported planning a data center of about 212,000 square feet at 2 Peekay Drive, a site that had housed a chemicals business, next to the Mountain Tech Center, where Telx was the anchor tenant. (Data Center Knowledge, May 12, 2011)
Conflicts and open questions
- Square footage adds the two buildings as Digital Realty lists them. Digital Realty does not call them a campus on these pages; they are grouped because the addresses adjoin (about 400 meters apart by Census geocoder), and 2013 reporting described them as one campus.
- Digital Realty's EWR21 page mentions a 730,000-square-foot Piscataway campus; that figure belongs to its Piscataway site, not Clifton, and is not used here.
- Who owns 2 Peekay Drive today was not checked; the GI Partners purchase is from 2013.
