- Jan. 2, 2025 News On 6 reported ODOT asked Pryor police to remove plate reader cameras from state highway right-of-way. Chief Jeremy Cantrell said the city council had approved the cameras and he had not decided whether to comply. (News On 6, Jan. 2, 2025)
Conflicts and open questions
- Whether the cameras stayed up after ODOT's request was not found. The opened articles do not name the vendor. A slide in a 2024 legislative study deck on the Flock system lists Pryor Creek PD among outside organizations with access; the slide does not say whose system. Chief Jeremy Cantrell told KJRH the readers are on city-owned utility poles.
