Aligned announced a 200,000 sq ft Phase II at its 51-acre, 120 MW Union Hills campus, able to support 60 MW more at full build-out. (Aligned Data Centers, Feb. 20, 2018)
Conflicts and open questions
- Acreage is 51 acres (2018 release) or 55 acres including PHX-05 (DCF 2024).
- In 2022 Aligned also bought a vacant Deer Valley office park near I-17 and Loop 101 for $108 million to convert to data centers. Phoenix's 2025 data center rules stalled that plan, and as of May 2026 it was still being discussed with the city (The Real Deal, citing PBJ). It may be a separate campus but has no capacity figure and is not tracked here.
