Conflicts and open questions
- Size is reported variously: 504,600 sq ft in the 2024 minutes, 490,000 in The Citizen and DCD's 2024 story, about 500,000 in later coverage. The 1.5 million sq ft figure appears only in the AJC's account of the earlier disclosure.
- Acreage: about 147 acres lie in Tyrone; the rest of the 161 acres, in Fulton County and Fairburn, stays outside the rezoning.
- The March 2024 minutes record incomplete vote tallies, so no count is given. The town's page states the council approved the rezoning on March 28.
- Microsoft's open-house boards expect mass grading within 12 to 24 months, pending permits, and call the concept plan subject to change.
- The town's page says electric service comes from the applicable utility provider, without naming one for this site. The regional-impact report on the Atlanta Regional Commission site was not opened.
