The record, newest first

  1. When checked, QTS's location page listed two buildings at 300 and 120 Satellite Boulevard on 40 owned acres, with Building 1 at 385,000 sq ft and more than 205,000 sq ft of raised floor. (QTS Data Centers, Nov. 3, 2026; QTS Data Centers, 2024)

  2. QTS said it had acquired the 376,900 sq ft second building at the campus and had begun renovating its offices. (QTS Data Centers, Aug. 10, 2023)

Conflicts and open questions

  • The 761,900 sq ft total is the sum of QTS's two building figures; QTS does not publish the total itself.
  • The QTS page does not use the word 'operating' and gives no opening date. The status rests on its reference to existing customers, its tour offer and building 1's listed power and floor space.
  • The location page was read on QTS's content host (cms-production.qtsdatacenters.com); the public q.com location page returned a server error.
  • QTS said in 2023 that it bought its first Suwanee data center almost 20 years earlier.

Status note
QTS's location page says the campus hosts large QTS customers and offers tours; the second building's raised floor and power are still listed as planned. The operator gives no opening date, so this status date is when we checked its page.
Power note
QTS lists more than 100 MW of planned critical capacity for the campus. Building 1 has 26 MW, expandable to 58 MW; building 2 has 30 MW planned.
