Blue Ladder Wolcott data center proposal (Mid-America Commerce Park)
A judge in October 2026 reversed White County's 2025 rezoning of farmland at Wolcott's Mid-America Commerce Park, where Blue Ladder Development planned a data center. Also known as: MAC Park.

Two neighbors sue the commissioners, the redevelopment commission and the landowners over the rezoning, alleging the applications lacked a notarized owner letter and a site plan, the Journal & Courier reports. Conflicts and open questions
- Acreage differs: the Journal & Courier says the reversed rezoning covered more than 184 acres, the figure used here, while IBJ reported about 287 acres at the August 2025 plan commission stage and a commissioner's figure of 250-plus.
- IBJ's account of the plan commission meeting also reports a 6-4 vote to postpone the rezoning for the water study, which is unclear against the favorable recommendation.
- Blue Ladder was not a party to the suit. The ruling turned on the rezoning filings, not on whether a data center belongs at the site. The missing owner letters are the plaintiffs' allegation; the judge voiced concern about mismatched dates on the documents.
- MW and end user are not reported. Officials said in 2025 that the rezoning approved no specific project.
- The reports give August as the month of the suit without a year; 2025 is inferred from the sequence of events.
The full record
- Status note
- White Circuit Court reversed the 2025 rezoning on Oct. 15, 2026. Stalled is our reading of that ruling. The developer says it expects a successful appeal, and the landowners could restart the rezoning, with a final vote possible in January.
