Conflicts and open questions

  • This is not part of aws-new-carlisle-project-rainier. Reporting describes it as a further data center on farmland outside the Indiana Enterprise Center.
  • Investment is $12 billion in WNDU and DCD and $13 billion in ABC57. Acreage is 1,057 in ABC57 and DCD and about 1,000 in WVPE.
  • ABC57 called Mall-o-Manor LLC the developer, while DCD, citing the South Bend Tribune, lists it among the landowners and names New Carlisle 25 Developer LLC as the buyer.
  • The council president wrote that Meta would be the end user and later revised that to speculation; Meta told WSBT the site was not its own (DCD).
  • MW and end user are not reported. No 2026 refiling was found.
