07 · What we don’t know

What the records leave out, and what we are asking for.

What these records do not show
  • Wrongdoing. A contract, owner or foreign buyer is not evidence of any.
  • How any weapon was used. Where products have been tied to strikes, the Defense-Tech File says who reported it and how the company answered.
  • Classified work and subcontracts, which USAspending leaves out.
  • Every Florida contractor. This File covers the arms, drone, surveillance and service companies we documented.
Records and comment still to get
  • Florida Commerce: every incentive award to these companies.
  • Division of Elections: their contributions to state candidates and committees.
  • Comment from the companies named here; replies will be added with the date received.
  • Anything you hold: tips@signaldata.org.
